A powerful 11.4-channel amplifier
Equipped with a sophisticated power amplifier in a monolithic board design, AVC-X6800H delivers high-power performance of up to 205 watts per channel to ensure a dynamic and precise entertainment experience. In fact, a single amplifier board for each channel (as opposed to multiple amplifiers on one board) minimizes interference and crosstalk between channels for better channel separation, clarity and detail in sound.
13.4-channel processing
With two-channel external amplification that can be assigned to the left and right front speaker or a pair of height channels, a 13-channel speaker configuration, such as 7.1.6 or 9.1.4, can be configured, allowing even greater flexibility and a high sound immersion experience.
Preamplifier mode provides a cleaner signal path and greater tolerance in saturation level by disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect selected speaker channels so that the AV amplifier’s built-in amplification can be used to drive non-critical channels to achieve a clearer signal path for channels driven by the external amplification.
Equipped with four subwoofer outputs for better low-frequency distribution and reproduction. When more than two subwoofers are connected, you can change their performance by selecting “Standard” mode if you want evenly distributed bass performance; “Directional” mode for more directional bass performance, perfectly integrated to the speaker closest to each subwoofer in the room.

With Denon’s award-winning Setup Assistant, setup is simple and straightforward: simply connect the AV amplifier to the TV and follow the instructions on the HD TV screen to connect speakers, take measurements, and connect source devices.

High-resolution audio
Streaming from a NAS and the front USB port support high-resolution audio playback up to 24 bit/192 kHz and DSD5.6. Supported audio formats are MP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG-4/AAC, FLAC, ALAC and DSD.
AL32 Processing technology
AL32 Processing, a Denon proprietary analog waveform reproduction technology, supports a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz and performs 32-bit expansion on the amplifier. The technology completely suppresses the noise associated with D/A conversion to reproduce low-level signals with optimal clarity that will bring out all the delicate nuances of music. ‘AL32 Multi-Channel Processing’ means that the technology is applied to all channels and all input sources.
Multi source, multi-zone
The amplifier supports three sources and three zones. You can drive three different zones with three different sources at the same time, or all with the same source. Use the internal amplification in this configuration or use the pre-outs of zone two and zone three to connect to external amplifiers. One of the HDMI outputs can be used as a second A/V zone.
Connectivity
All 7 inputs support 8K/60 Hz, 4K/120 Hz, HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR pass-through and 8K upscaling; reactivate or turn off up to three devices connected to the trigger input. With analog video inputs, you can play back your older AV collections. Via the input selector you’ll choose among the seven devices connected via HDMI, as well as CD, PHONO, USB, Bluetooth, HEOS Music and TV Audio.
There are three HDMI outputs; the main TV output supports eARC for simplified TV audio connection and HD and 3D audio transmission.
And of course, the four subwoofer outputs mentioned above.
