Amplifiers

All five Class D digital amplifiers have been perfectly optimized for the soundbar’s acoustic architecture.

Tweeter
A center tweeter creates a crisp and precise high-frequency response.

Midwoofer
Four elliptical mid-woofers faithfully reproduce midrange frequencies and maximize the output of low frequencies.

Microphones
The far-field setup of microphones with advanced beamforming and multichannel echo cancellation enables fast and accurate voice control.

Passive speakers
Three passive speakers enhance low frequencies to give you more powerful and balanced audio.

Adjustable equalization
Use the Sonos app to adjust bass, treble and volume.

Trueplay
The software analyzes the room acoustics and optimizes the soundbar based on it. A compatible iOS device is required.

Speech enhancement
Enable this setting in the Sonos app to increase the acoustic intensity of speech and make dialogues clearer.

Night Sound
Activate this setting in the Sonos app to reduce the intensity of loud sounds and increase the intensity of weaker sounds.

Home theater audio formats
Stereo PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos (Dolby Digital Plus), Dolby Atmos*, Dolby TrueHD*, Dolby Atmos (True HD)*, Multichannel PCM*, Dolby Multichannel PCM*, DTS Digital Surround** (*requires HDMI eARC connection. **Does not indicate licensing for decoding). The Running screen of the Sonos app will show the type of audio in use.

Wi-Fi
Connects to the Wi-Fi network with any router with 2.4 GHz transmission compatible with the 802.11 b/g/n protocol. For 5 GHz routers, you can enable 2.4 GHz transmission with 802.11 b/g/n protocol in the router settings or connect a Sonos product to the router via cable.

HDMI eARC
Connect the supplied HDMI cable to the HDMI eARC/ARC port on the TV. If your TV has only an optical output, use the supplied Sonos optical audio adapter.
