Enjoy perfectly balanced audio, crystal-clear dialog, deep bass, and optimized control via the TV remote, Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and more. Setup takes only a few minutes and two cables, and the forward-facing acoustic components allow Ray to be placed in an enclosed space, such as on a TV cabinet shelf. You’ll have the ability to gradually create the Sonos System you want, adding more speakers to enjoy surround sound and multi-room listening.

Features

Sonos Ray has been optimized with the help of award-winning Hollywood sound engineers so you can always follow the storyline. Turning on Speech Enhancement will make dialogue even sharper when characters speak softly or music volume increases, while if you don’t want to disturb the rest of the house, use Night Sound to reduce loud sound effects.

Separate waveguides spread the sound from wall to wall, while the high processing capacity accurately positions the sound elements within the room, catapulting you into the center of the action.

Trueplay optimization technology adjusts the sound according to the acoustics of each room to best match the content. (A compatible iOS device is required)

Because it is designed to be hidden, even when inserted into the TV cabinet, the forward-facing acoustic elements will minimize interference from surrounding objects and provide phenomenal audio in any situation.

With easy setup, Sonos Ray will be ready for listening in minutes. Just plug in the power cord, connect Ray to the TV’s optical port, and open the Sonos app. Everything else is automatic! You can also connect Ray to any TV and use the remote to control the audio.

Last but not least, when the TV is off, play music, radio, podcasts, and audiobooks from all your services over Wi-Fi using the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and more.

All four Class D digital amplifiers have been perfectly optimized for the soundbar’s acoustic architecture.

Trueplay

The software analyzes the room acoustics and optimizes the soundbar based on it. A compatible iOS device is required.

Improvement of speech

Activate this setting in the Sonos app to increase the acoustic intensity of speech and make dialogues clearer.

Night Sound

Activate this setting in the Sonos app to reduce the intensity of loud sounds and increase the intensity of weaker sounds.

Home theater audio formats

Stereo PCM, Dolby Digital 5.1* and DTS Digital Surround* (*does not indicate licensed decoding). The Running screen of the Sonos app will show the type of audio in use.
