DJI Matrix 4 series introduces intelligence to aerial operations

Multiple intelligent sensors for detailed night and daytime images and precision mapping

The DJI Matrix 4 series features medium and large telephoto lenses.

With the 70 mm 3x medium optical telephoto lens, screws and cracks can be detected in medium-range inspections of power lines and bridges from a distance of 10 meters.

For longer range inspections, the 168 mm telephoto lens camera can capture incredible detail up to 250 meters away.

In addition, the laser rangefinder can measure distances from 1800 meters away.

The DJI Matrice 4T model can serve various sectors, from emergency response to public safety and energy management.

The infrared camera supports high-resolution mode up to 1280×1024 pixels, while the NIR auxiliary light can illuminate distances up to 100 meters.

Other notable lenses include a 24 mm wide-angle lens and an IR-Cut filter for sharp images both day and night.

DJI also now provides the tools needed for model training and the certification process for third-party developers to access the built-in computing capability, contributing to the expansion of new fields of AI applications for drones.

The DJI Matrix 4E is designed for surveying, mapping and inspections.

The 24 mm wide-angle lens with mechanical shutter enables high-speed aerial inspection from multiple angles.

Supports quick shots with 0.5 s interval in orthophoto and oblique photography modes with mapping flight speeds up to 21 m/s.

It also enables Smart 3D Capture, which allows users to create rough models and generate accurate mapping paths for measuring irregular buildings.

Intelligent air support for search and rescue missions

Thanks to the integrated AI model, the Matrix 4 series functions as another set of eyes during search and rescue missions.

Vehicles and boats can be detected quickly from a distance, even in difficult terrain.

Other prominent functions

Excellent images in complex environments: extensive upgrades to night mode, including larger apertures and intelligent low-light features, result in superior low-light performance.

New accessories for efficiency and adaptability: the DJI AL1 reflector can light up to 100 meters away. The DJI AS1 speaker can transmit up to 300 meters and reach 114 decibels at 1 meter. At the same time, the D-RTK 3 multifunction station can extend the range of image transmission in areas without a network.

Industry-leading privacy controls: DJI gives customers control over their own data. Users can freely choose whether or not to give explicit consent to share photos or videos with DJI. To meet growing data security needs, Local Data Mode can disable the app’s Internet connection.
