3D AUDIO AS YOU’VE NEVER HEARD IT

Until the advent of 3D AUDIO encodings based on the “objects” the work of a preamplifier was very simple and elementary. Through the bitstream setting the preamplifier received the encapsulated signal for decoding. Nothing difficult happened since each sound was recorded on a specific“ track ” and each track was assigned to a speaker.

The architecture of a track is fortunately no longer so basic in the age of 3D Audio. In fact, “objects“, sounds that the Audio processor is responsible for“rendering” , that is, to materialize in the room in real time on the specific and particular mapping of the speakers installed in the room. The computing power to accurately and qualitatively perform this operation is not negligible and that is why today from product to product there are very marked qualitative and performance differences.

MONSTROUS COMPUTING POWER

For the above reasons, Trinnov ALTITUDE 32 does not use dsps produced by third parties. Trinnov decided to implement its own processing and sound correction algorithms directly on the very powerful multi-core internal architecture. This allows the processor to raise its level of computation to the dizzying resolution of 64bit floating point on all 32 channels (unique in the world) that can be processed.

This architecture does not bind any future upgrades to any dsp, which as known becomes obsolete immediately. Everything can be improved and modified by updating the Preamplifier’s internal software.
