TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER
Usually reserved for high-end Hi-Fi components, R-N2000A boasts the technological innovation and perfect musicality of a toroidal transformer. Combined with a wide range of functions and high-end Hi-Fi components, the toroidal transformer ensures the transmission of musical emotion to the listener. In addition, a 3 mm brass base is sandwiched between the underside of the transformer and the internal chassis to control vibration in the unit and deliver an incredibly wide sound loaded with realism.
HIGH PERFORMANCE DAC
For clear and crisp reproduction of the audio field while delivering a rich and detailed level of musicality, we have adopted ESS Technologies’ innovative ES9026PRO digital-to-analog converter. This high-quality DAC enables extremely precise signal conversion via balanced analog audio output and further refined current delivery for four-channel operation. Thus, even the discreet atmosphere of concert halls and the delicate expressive nuances of sound can be effectively reproduced.
LOW IMPEDANCE CONCEPT
In order to completely eliminate energy loss and audio signal degradation, R-N2000A has thick cables for ground connection, a crucial function for the component to be a truly quality Hi-Fi. A screw connection is also adopted for the output from the amplifier section to enhance isolation, which is important for audio quality. By achieving these goals, an open and natural audio environment is created, bringing the performer closer to the listener.

MECHANICAL ISOLATION CONCEPT
Just as in Yamaha’s flagship Hi-Fi model, R-N2000A adopts the concept of mechanical isolation. Starting with the leg bolts welded directly to the main chassis, it continues with the large heatsink, transformer and blocking capacitors, which are also bolted directly to the chassis. With this design, unwanted vibrations are avoided, providing a powerful, high-impact response at low frequencies and allowing the deep rhythm of the music to be felt.
BRASS FEET WITH SILVER PLATING
To crown its solid strength, the speaker features silver-plated brass feet that firmly enhance the rich and fundamental low-frequency response, loading it with musicality.

FLOATING AND BALANCED AMPLIFICATION
Equipped with our original amplifier technology, the amplifier circuit, which includes the power supply, is completely independent of the ground connection, and the impact of minimal voltage fluctuations and external background noise is totally eliminated. The design of this circuit offers numerous advantages, including the perfect symmetry of pull-pull operation in the output stage, the achievement of an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and a power output of strong impact that perfectly draws in the sound of any musical instrument.
SYMMETRICAL STRUCTURE
Following the pattern of this component’s stereo playback, the R-N2000A has adopted a folding, perfectly symmetrical book structure with the power supply in the center and the amplifier blocks on either end of the main unit. In this way, the unit assumes ideal weight balance and can eliminate adverse effects between channels for extraordinary channel separation. The result is incredibly crystal-clear reproduction of every part of the sound.
MUSICCAST
The R-N2000A features Yamaha’s original MusicCast network system.
